December Snow is a Christmas story that captures the wonder of childhood and the special traditions of family life. Set in a small, snow-covered town, the story follows siblings Nell and Will, who eagerly await the first snowfall of December. When the snow begins, their parents reveal a magical secret: Santa’s elves travel inside the first snowflakes to hear the wishes of children everywhere.

Through their adventure, Nell and Will learn important lessons about kindness, generosity, and the true spirit of the holiday season. Rich, expressive illustrations bring the story to life, drawing readers into a world of warmth, discovery, and festive wonder. About the Author

Mark McLaughlin is a former high school English teacher and longtime superintendent of schools in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He now works as a business and education leadership consultant, helping organizations strengthen current and emerging leaders. A lifelong learner, Mark enjoys kayaking and hiking throughout New England and beyond. He believes reading opens doors to discovery and hopes his writing will inspire children and adults alike. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two sons.
